Who We Are
From conception, the idea was to create a spot in which the owners themselves would like to hang out. Mission accomplished.
Toss features large 20” New York-style pies with a Texas twist – like our Pulled-Pork Jalapeno, Smoked Brisket, and Gulf Shrimp & Pesto. Of course, you’ll find the classics – Pepperoni, Margherita, Supreme – all made with the freshest ingredients possible. Pizza is nothing without quality dough, and ours is made in-house daily.
Have a peek in the kitchen window to see the dough being TOSSed fresh with each order. Inventive salads, simple yet delicious appetizers, and from-scratch wings round out the menu. If it can be made in-house, it is – down to the wing sauces and ranch dressing.
Sleek, industrial décor pays homage to our building’s history – formerly Deutchman Plumbing Supply. The open dining room leads to a covered patio and dog-friendly turf yard. Every seat in the house has perfect views of our 10 TVs – including a 120” projection screen in the Toss Yard.
Our spacious full-bar is highlighted by 10 Texas draft beer options and craft cocktails all made with hand-squeezed juices. Come enjoy fresh-made food and a soon-to-be-famous Frozen Margarita while tossing washers or bags in the yard.

Damn good fun, that’s what Toss is.
When I walked in Toss my first thought was… I’m so comfortable here. This place feels so good! I always perk up when I find that. Because it’s rare. Austin is chock full of gorgeous, delicious restaurants, staffed by competent people… But the X factor isn’t there. They’re not happy. It feels slightly off. You go to EAT at places like that. Who’s happy at work? The people at Toss. You go to HANG at places like that.
The owner was friendly and spoke to us about the aesthetic of the place, how they hired a local graffiti artist for some of the art. Especially as Austin becomes more commercial, it’s awesome to see a local spot doing it right.
Love this place! Food is amazing and drinks are on point as well! Can’t wait to come back here again! P.S. It’s our second time this weekend 🙂
The pork belly carbonara pizza created a taste that I’ve never experienced before, and it’s something that I still think about to this day.
Food was yummy.. Better than every other sports bar in this area! Salads are always a great way to keep me and health conscious sports fans happy!!
The patio is where we spent our time; the whole thing is covered in astro-turf, making it super-dog friendly (no burnt paws from hot concrete at Toss!).
The stuffed pretzel was the bomb but you have to try the Brussels sprouts…heaven.
